hi. i just bought a new toshiba satellite m35x laptop and it only comes with 256 mb. so i bought a memory card with another 256mb and i have no idea how to install it. first off, how do you install it? is this easy to do and will i fuck up my computer if i do it wrong? thanks

If you've never worked with computers before, it can be a bit complicated, because you have to take apart the chassis a bit in order to install the card.
Ultimately, if you're wary, take it to best buy and have one of the techs there install it. It'll cost you 50 bucks, but you'll have piece of mind.
I'd also suggest googling your computer names with "installing RAM" and see what comes up.

Yea, if you've never done things like that before, don't start with your laptop. I've done it a little computer work, and I still would take something like that to my pal Grim Sanity to do work on my laptop. If you're not properly grounded, you can send a shock through stuff on your comp and do damage.
