There are unused icons on my desk top!

OMG!!

I get that warning once in a while on my computer (Windows XP) and I find it annoying and dont know how to turn it off. Any suggestions?

So delete them.

I have the Recycle Bin on my desktop, and that's it.

right-click the Desktop and click Properties;

click the Desktop tab,

and click the Customize Desktop button;

clear the Run Desktop Cleanup Wizard every 60 days check box.

Cool! Thanks, I just did it. But it also seemed to delete me wallpaper for some reason, but I did find it again in another file and I have it back now. Thanks again!

I clean up my own computer desktop every few weeks or when it's really cluttered.

It's amazing the shit I keep on there. My lastest Photoshop project. Band stuff of course. I have a few important dates and account info as text files. Digital photo projects. My Resume. Shortcuts to a few programs I use.

What a fucking mess. This thread makes me want to clean it up now.
