Lex Luger arrested....again.

The run of bad luck for Larry "Lex Luger" Pfohl continued today as he was arrested on a DUI charge near his Marietta, GA home. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Pfohl was arrested Monday morning on I-575 on DUI and other charges. The 46 year-old Pfohl was found "slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle" by police. He then woke up and drove away, only to be caught and charged with DUI, driving on an expired tag, alteration of tag, no proof of insurance and having an open container in his car.


I don't think this is really "bad luck."

"Wrestler Lex Luger (real name: Lawrence Pfohl) was arrested by Cobb County, Georgia cops in May 2003 after they found illegal bodybuilding drugs in his home while investigating the death of his live-in girlfriend Elizabeth Hulette (the wrestling personality known as Miss Elizabeth). The drug bust was the second time in two weeks that Pfohl was nabbed by cops. He was arrested in April and charged with misdemeanor battery for allegedly striking Hulette during a domestic dispute."

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Lex Luger was sentenced to five years probation yesterday after pleading guilty to possession of three kinds of steroids. He had over 1000 pills in his possession. Police found the drugs in his home when they were called there in April 2003 due to Elizabeth Hulette (Miss Elizabeth) choking. She died shortly after that. Luger was also fined $1000 and ordered to take drug tests.

Former WCW World champion Lex Luger is currently being held at the Gwinnett County Detention Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was arrested two weeks ago for what is listed as "contempt of court" stemming from Luger's failure to maintain child support payments to his ex-wife.

Luger is currently on probation stemming from a DUI arrest this past January. He has been out of the ring in recent months stemming from a back injury suffered while training.
