You're Favorite Piece Of Jewelery?

so what's the favorite piece of jewelery that you own? doesn't need to be the most expensive or the largest one, maybe something that has sentimental value

i always say to myself "who the heck ever started putting value on a diamond or a piece of gold"? being they are basically rocks dug out of the earth

but i guess they can be made to look pretty and can at times make a person look a little more beautiful or handsome. but i guess most important is their sentimental value

my two favorite are the gold arrowhead i've been wearing on my neck chain for almost 21 years that my wife gave me and a gold 4 leaf clover that my Mom would wear before she passed away...

The one I wear is the pre-Apollo model, whereby there is a sea monster rather than the Apollo logo on the rear bezel.
I got it for $700 and it is probably worth 3 times that now.

This is the same watch Kevin Bacon used to time the booster burns in "Apollo 13"

I have a gold necklace that has a few pendants (like a scapular medal, Italian horn, etc.)on it that my mom got me that I always wear. I wear a dog tag necklace too and occasionally a wedding band type ring.

The gold pocket watch my Aunt Ruthanne got for me. It's nice and has little gems set in it around the face and opens on both sides so you can see the time and the watch works behind.

She died or Cystic Fibrosis in January of '91 I think it was, and was in the hospital that Christmas. So the watch was actually supposed to be a present, but ended up being the last thing she gave me. I got it after the funeral. I only use it on special occasions, which unfortunately end up being more funerals it seems.
