Fast Cash

Ok, this is something I never understood with ATMs. What is the fast cash option? Is it just a set withdrawl amount on the front screen so you don't have to go through the withdrawl section, select checking and enter an amout? Or is there more to it than that?

fast cash gives you a screen that has $20, $40, $60, $100 (or some variation thereof)

Once you select your amount, it immediately spits your cash, reciept, and card out, saving you the 'do you want another transaction' screen. I think it also draws from your primary account, eliminating that screen as well.

So yeah, it's for lazy people who don't like pushing buttons.

jon, fast cash is 60 bucks. put your card in, do the code, hit fast cash, the next thing that happens is you get 60 and your card back, it doesnt ask anything else

At my bank, Fast Cash gives me the screen freakshow sees. If I go to normal withdrawl, I have to punch in the amount.

at my bank, fast cash gives you 60. withdrawl goes to a screen that say 20 40 60 100 or other amount, and other amount you use to type in an odd amount

Different banks give different options. Washington Mutual give $40 for the fast cash option. Some banks (BNY for example) give $60. Others give you a list.

It's simply a feature for the lazy to cut down on the number of buttons pressed.
