Post Counts

I can't believe I have to say this, but...

Post counts don't mean shit around here. It means how many times you've posted and replied and nothing more. People are judged by the quality of their posts, not quantity. If people accidentally double or triple post, shit happens. If it's a long post, click the edit button and just clear it out. If someone else does it, ignore it. If someone is spamming for post count, then something will be done. If it's really bad, we can delete their account and force them to start all over again (don't make us do this).

And if anyone wants to cite the post where Horde King said he'd race me to 2000, that was a joke.

i think post counts should be broken down into day and hour categories. then awards given out based on that. That way, some of our morning posters can get the props they deserve, while the night posters also get their share. Just because you only have an hour a day to post, doesn't mean you should go un-noticed. So, maybe Jeff is the #1 poster tuesday 11:00am, but then loses out to Iamnotatools for the 12:00pm timeslot. There will be some tight races, but it will be great for the board. no stupid threads of innane babble just to raise post counts.
Sound crazy? so is worrying about post counts.
