Work trying to ruin my marriage?

me and my wife work at the same company, so needless to say we see each other ALOT!!! we wake up in the same bed, go to work in the same car, work on the same floor, drive home in the same car and then watch TV on the same couch before passing out in the same bed and starting the process all over again.

Though we work at the same place we had 2 seperate jobs where we didn't need to interact and it was the break we needed.

Well today work drops the bomb that our two jobs are merging to the same area, under the same boss. Not only that, but she will be in the desk right next to me. So I will see her ALL Fucking Day. And this is nothing against my wife, i love her with all my heart, but i need some time away from her. I'm afraid we may end up killing each other and i kind of feel its unfair for our job to have put us in this spot. We can't tell them no, or we are out a job and need to pay our mortgage.

The only good thing is we are selling our house and looking to move, so once that happens we can find new work, but who knows how long it will take to sell and find a new job. i hope we make it through okay til then.

Damn, that's tough seeing your wife every hour of the whole freaking day. Sometimes having your own space is good, so you can look at other women and do stuff that you couldn't do at home. (Like in the SWAT movie- the guy would eat healthy at home but at work he loaded up on the junk food). Best of luck.

yeah, i don't see us discussing many of the girls in our office.

right now i'm around the people i hang out with after work, so i love it. i don't need to get up, as there is always someone hanging around my desk..that will change soon enough.

my wife gets sick of hearing me talk about sports/fantasy leagues at home, my guess is she won't be more open about discussing it at work.

the more i think of this, the more it sucks.

would have to say it would be quite the adjustment for us

her working days, me working nights and weekends, at 'seperate' companies has probably been a blessing

it definitely helped out with less childcare
