View Full Version : The WWE Movie Parodies

Between the first three movie parodies and the Royal Rumble promo, whoever is working in creative in the WWE deserves a huge raise. They're AWESOME.

I mean, the look on Benoit's face during the "Basic Instinct" promo was BRILLIANT.

FOCUS: Create your own WWE movie parody.

I have several:

SEVEN: Featuring UT, Kane, and Gene Snitsky.

Gene: "So I took a present from here, Kane."

UT: "EVERYONE STAY BACK! GENE SNITSKY HAS THE UPPER HAND!!"

Gene: "Her pretty... little... head."

Kane: Ah. Oh jeez! Ah! Ah! Oh man.

Raiders of the Lost Ark:

DAVE takes the WWE title from the altar, only to be chased by a giant HHH head boulder.

Fight Club:

Vince and HHH are the same person. It puts a whole new spin on the "I haven't been fucked like that since grade school" line.

Great to be able to go and watch the trailers online at the WWE site but the fucking advertisements for Champion, some lame ass role play looking shit that they pretty much force me to watch is about as bad as having to look at Stacy Keibler open her legs.

The Basic Instinct one is pretty good though until the Mae and moolah at the end. The attempt comedy kills it. Pretty good on the HHH Braveheart and I have yet to watch the other one.

Actually better than the recent wrestling product I have seen. if as much time was put into these as is the storylines, I may not forget every Monday that wrestling is on.

The Eugene ones as everything that he does is AWFUL. Trips awful accent and Flair made the brave heart one. And the basic Instinct one was great. That look by Beniot was classic.

I disagree. He did a good job doing Eugene as Forrest Gump. It suited the character he plays. It probably could have been written a bit better, because Regal can be absolute gold in promos.

HHH as braveheart was done well. Flair makes that skit a scream, playing right into his current character. I like the whole "Mel Gibson's got nothing on you, champ. WOOOOOO!!!"

I loved the Eugene one. Hilarious. Also, the Braveheart one with HHH. Although, HHH can't could not get the voice down. I hated the Pulp Fiction one. Booker's "Sucka" thing is quite annoying now. Good at first but now bad.

I forgot about the JBL/Cena one, that one was pretty bad too. The ones that took themselves completely serious are weak, the ones with a sense of humor are great.

I really have to disagree with you about the Undertaker one. At least you saw a degree of acting that surpassed what the others attempted to do.

He has my vote as the best one out there.
And I don't care what you say.

AoL, I'd just have to think that your opinion is a little bit biased.

And it's him in a sport coat holding a gun instead of him dressed in black holding most of the locker room back.

I've got to say the Cena/JBL one was the best so far. It stayed almost exactly to the dialogue in the original scene from the movie and yet wove in the ongoing wrestling story almost perfectly. And it's probably one of Bradshaw's best performances since becoming the 2nd rate million dollar man.

Angle/Christy was hilarious, if for nothing else than Angle dressed as Billy Crystal. He can be hilarious when he's given the opportunity.

I think Big Show is hilarious when he does comedy. I mean it reminds me of when he stole the show back when the Rock hosted SNL for the first time.

The past few wrestlemania opens have always been something special. Last year had the three generations of McMahons + the new NYC skyline with Freedom Tower. That was very cool.

I think this latest Taxi Driver promo is one of, if not the best one.

I found Candice Michelle's part to be the best, solely for the addition of what she did in the GoDaddy.com commercial. That was funny.

Since I don't feel like working right now, and with WWE saying they'll be having their own Awards for these trailers, here are my votes:

Best Trailer

1. Basic Instinct - "How about Sado-masochistic activity? Just asking."

2. A Few Good Men - I thought this had the best overall acting, especially JBL.

3. Braveheart - Flair + HHH on an ass = Comedy GOLD.

4. When Harry Met Sally - "Tap" Tap" Tap". Even Linda Mac was funny.

5. Taxi Driver - "Lose the apple." "That's not cool". I love CCC.

6. Forrest Gump - Only for Regal.

7. Pulp Fiction - Eh, though Booker was OK.

8. Dirty Harry - This one sucked.

Best Actor

1. Christian, "Basic Instinct" - I could watch this all day just for his facials and delivery.

2. JBL, "A Few Good Men" - He shouldn't be champ, but he was awesome in this.

3. Flair, "Braveheart" - Hysterical.

4. Angle, "When Harry Met Sally"

5. Cena, "A Few Good Men" - Actually held his own with JBL.

Best Actress

1. Christy, "When Harry Met Sally" - she can fake it with me anytime.

2. Stacy, "Basic Instinct" - mainly because she had the most lines.

3. Linda McMahon

4. Candace Michelle - well, she is really hot.

haha, this voting is so stupid. For some reason Undertaker is leading the male performance category (it is just him, HHH, Bradshaw, and Eugene though) and the Taxi Driver Trailer is winning Best Trailer by a landslide almost 41% to almost 13% for the Basic Instinct one. I don't know who is actually voting in these two categories but they seem to hate themselves.

Best On Screen Tag Team is knotted up between 3 with just 1% separating Flair and the donkey, Cena and JBL, and Booker and Eddie with Christy and Angle trailing 4th. Favorite Female performance is 48-44-7 Stacy-Christy-Candice, Most Promising Movie Star has Cena leading with 45% over Batista (26%) Stacy (21%) and Angle (8%), and Favorite Punchline has Christian's last line leading Linda Mac's and Regal's 43-28-29.

Then theres categories like Best Hair, the best "You talkin' to me", and a choice of 4 "NC-17 Most Shocking Moments" that are neither shocking nor funny/entertaining/worth film. I'm goin to sleep, and these categories aint worth typing.
