Holy Crap (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,147490,00.html), this is the mall I usually go to. I have no idea what's up with this area, but every so often so whack job just goes on a shooting spree up here. Not too long ago, some guy shot up my town, New Paltz (http://www.recordonline.com/archive/2001/06/22/npmainsh.htm). Turns out that guy got apprehended about half a block from my house. Scary thing is, my girlfriend and I were out that night and went home about 1 hour before it happened. (Downtown New Paltz is effectively 2 blocks, so we would have been right in the middle of it). Hope everyone's ok.
Friggin' scary.

Jimmy Fallon kissing Drew Barrymore -- on the field, on live TV -- right after the Red Sox won their first World Series in 86 years. In fact, they were shown in a closeup within 60 seconds of the final out. And every Red Sox fan is determined to pretend that this never happened, and that it didn't taint the moment even a little bit ... so it wasn't a huge deal.

Man, this is so creepy.
They're having constant coverage on the local news channel. They're saying how it may have been 2 shooters at different ends of the mall. It just freaks me out. I know much worse things have happened such as Columbine and the LIRR shooting, but this is so weird cause it's so close to home.

The big deal is I don't want to be the one person that was wounded.
I wouldn't be too happy if I took a bullet while in the Best Buy to pick up another Aqua Teen dvd.

The 24-year-old gunman went into a Best Buy store and started firing.
I so know how this guy feels. Best Buy fucking SUHUCKKKKKKKSSSSSSSS....worst customer service ever.
I went in there to buy a CRT monitor for myself and asked they guy where he kept the CRT monitors...he said huh and pointed at the flat screens. When I said in an effort to simplify, "no, i want the monitors that look like tv's" he said, "they still make those?"
grrrr
