Running Athletes Out Of Town

So Philadelphia has been notorious for running players out of town. Shawn Bradley, Keith van Horn, Mitch Williams, Izel Jenkins, Chris Gratton. I personally always liked Mitch even though he served up the winning pitch to Joe Carter in 1983.

Except for this much deserved jackass I can't wait to see out of town. I hope he becomes a Cowboy. I hope I hope I hope.

Ok you are off on Hamrlik and Parrish, they got those guys for prospects at NO costs whatsoever to the Isles. The true sin in the last few years was losing Tim Connolly. But he wasnt run out of town, but rather traded for Peca who is a Bossy, Trottier, and Gilles rolled into one package.

Those other guys ya mentioned werent run out of town, but rather victims of poor Islander leadership in the front office. Potvin now was a prime example of a guy run out of town. Ferraro was another example of poor front office managing...They got rid of Ferraro at his prime. Put him, an emergin Ziggy Palffy and Bryan Berard on Defense on aline...(Shudders) the other team collapses in heartbeat. Too bad Isle ownership didnt see that.
