Looney Tunes should have died right along with Mel Blanc. I can't even handle the new voices of the characters much less this new fangled Lunatics garbage. I am appalled. Makes me want to even more want to help try and bring back spirit of the classic cartoons of old. New characters set in the style of my icons.

it's all about money, and establishing the brand for years to come ... unfortunately, it seems they are reducing brilliant writing and gorgeous artwork to lowly standards ...

it's a bit sad that the edge and brilliant wit of the looney tunes is not reaching the target markets anymore ... they already tried 'tiny toons' to re-invent the brand ...

i guess we're all getting old and can't comprehend whay the ideal, perfect icon of buggs bunny is being lost on later generations ...

I love how the attempt to cheapen and dumb down our culture for today's generation is so BLATENT. The characters are so crudely drawn and simplified that they literally assigned COLOR CODING to each character, because they all look so fucking ALIKE. You have your blue character, your orange character, the green character, etc.

Those new drawings are fucking pathetic.

They just ran a piece on it on CBS Sunday Morning, and the head of WB Animation seemed completely clueless - they also talked with kids and showed them pictures of "Bugs Bunny" and "Buzz Bunny" and one little boy said that "Buzz" looked evil.

To their defense, Tiny Toons was basically the same thing as this, done back in the 1980s/1990s.

However, it really does just smack of over marketing - this is New Coke meets Poochie (good pull) meets that stupid animated animal in those "XL EXTREME DRINKS."

Not having pupils saves significant time in animation. Now they don't even have to be looking at anything when they talk. Exaggerated facial expressions are one of the things that Looney Tunes INVENTED... These characters' eyes can't even pop out of their heads, cuz they don't HAVE eyes.
