All I see is that he won't play till he gets an MRI, and he'll miss the game against the Pacers.

And the playoffs or just the season?

Jimmy Fallon kissing Drew Barrymore -- on the field, on live TV -- right after the Red Sox won their first World Series in 86 years. In fact, they were shown in a closeup within 60 seconds of the final out. And every Red Sox fan is determined to pretend that this never happened, and that it didn't taint the moment even a little bit ... so it wasn't a huge deal.

Report: Shaq sidelined for season (http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/3415696)
Normally I wouldn't care, but I have him on my fantasy team. I just picked up Mourning in case he plays.

An ESPN News report that Shaquille O'Neal was out for the remainder of the season with a torn ligament in his left knee apparently was a bit premature.
The network is now reporting that O'Neal has only suffered a strained knee.
Espn News should start taking sports viagra. This is the 2nd time they have had a premature story. in less then a week.

The same folks who told us that there was a Hockey labor deal on Saturday, brokered by Gretzgy and Lemieux, for 45 mil cap. The season will start around March 5. Remember?

Shaq day to day with a very mild knee sprain... (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1998917)

Thre's such a thing as fact checking. ESPN is PARTNERS with the NHL. They could pick up the phone and call Bettman. The Commish was on Mike and the Dog and said nobody called him to check the story.

Bulldogcakes. You are 1000 % correct. You do not announce somthing that big unless you hear it from Bettman himself. Not even Goodnow. Bettman
