Jimmy Fallon kissing Drew Barrymore -- on the field, on live TV -- right after the Red Sox won their first World Series in 86 years. In fact, they were shown in a closeup within 60 seconds of the final out. And every Red Sox fan is determined to pretend that this never happened, and that it didn't taint the moment even a little bit ... so it wasn't a huge deal.

What! WHAT! This HAS to be some kind of a joke.
The Sixers would send Kenny Thomas, Corliss Williamson and Brian Skinner to the Kings
Korver, Iguodala, Dalembert and Green stay? Thomas is a huge salary dump for us. To bad we couldn't throw in Glenn Robinson for a bag of balls to get rid of his sorry ass. This is pretty exciting. Pardon my ignorance but how much game does Chris Webber have left?
Webber is no Moses but hell, maybe we have some kind of lame shot in hell at making a run.

Wow. The Knicks really suck. Webber was DYING to play in NY.
You can't get him, that's bad.

Terrible. They Lost Marbury to the Awful Nets the 1st time then they lose Carter to the Nets this time and now they lose out on Webber. Bullshit.

Awful move for the Kings. You give up 1 of your top draws and a guy that gives you over 21 points a game, over 5 assists per game, and nearly 10 rebounds per game...for...3 guys...1 thats scores 11, one that scores 10, and one that scores 2 points per game. One thats gets 6 boards a game, one that gets 3, and one that gets 2. Not only that, but you gain 3 long term contracts, you actually add on to the payroll...and, have we forgotten that Peja is a free agent after this season and most likely going to LA? Where are you gonna get the money to pursue him, or a guy to replace him?

Depending on how long Shaq is out, Philly just might be the favorite in the East now...

Celts sent Welsch to the Cavs for a first round pick in 2007. Good deal since Tony Allen is starting. ESPNews (fuckers) reports they traded Payton and Gugliotta to the Hawks to bring Walker back. Antoine is a fan favorite, so thats good news.

Good news Knicks fans! You just traded for Malik Rose and Maurice Taylor. Bet that soothes the sting of losing Webber.

Im fairly happy with the moves the Knicks made today, acquiring not only Rose and Taylor, but the Spurs and Rockets first round picks. I am however unhappy that Allan Houston and Tim Thomas are still on this team...

If packaged correctly, its definitely possible...if you can get a guy like Chris Webber for a bunch of over payed shlubs, you can trade a guy like Timmy or Houston, not neccesarily for someone better, or someone of equal ability, just for some cap relief...

Good deal? Walker is a gunner who plays no defense and is surely going to butt heads again with Pierce to get the ball more. At least Payton played defense and he ran the point.
Christ, sometimes I think Ainge is as bad a GM as Isaiah.

The ball needs to be taken away from Pierce. He trys to make too many plays on his own and ends up making dumb shots, at least now he can kick it out to Walker.
Thieir are also rumors the Hawks will buy out Payton and make him a free agent, then he comes back to the Celts. They were working on a contract extention before he was delt.
