I keep trying to hook up my X Box to my computer to play X Box live, but I can't seem to get it to work...I keep trying to connect it with my hi speed modem, but it keeps saying something about "not being able to connect with the network" or something about not being able to recognise a "DNS" or something like that or that my "IP" was already in use...I tried to go to the XBox support page, but it didnt really give me any answers..
I really appreciate the help guys...i know zero about computers

Okay....
Well...after a lot of looking around and tinkering, i finally connected to it.. and got it to run...
the problem is, i think i had to turn off my windows firewall in order to get it to connect...
How would i go about making an exception for the Xbox and keeping the firewall up?
Again, thanks in advance for the help

Within your firewall, you should have an option where you can allow programs of your choice to fully operate without being monitored. I use McAfee and I have this option.

Okay
I have the ability to make exceptions, but I don't know what program my Xbox would be under....
I guess I just need to know how to make an exception for my Xbox...
