...met someone with the exact same name as you? I met another Michael Sangregorio (me) through this college version of My Space called Facebook. It was pretty surreal. Turns out his dad is my grandfather's cousin.

I was surprised to find out there were a number of people with my name, since my last name is uncommon enough that it always gets mispronounced, and my first name is hardly in the top names. For my writing and what-not, I actually go by my first & middle initials, and damn it if there isn't already a published doctor who goes by that too.

According to my Mom there was another kid with my name who went to the same pediatrician as I did when I was a toddler, but I'm sure that the doctor was just using that excuse because he was high and kept screwing up our appointments.
