I used to listen to this show every day! Then suddenly the sation that played them is sold and now plays tunes. I thought Ron and Fez were gone forever but today I was thinking "What ever happed to them" So I looked them up and BOOM! I find out they moved to DC!! It's not fair! I live in NYC!! I'm angered (and sad inside)

wow. I'm surpised this board has post.

So I missed the last few shows they had in NYC. Usualy I thought that when a statoin is sold or something all the shows they had on them before just die. I didn't know they moved. That's why I didn't bother looking them up. When I did remember them it was 3 in the morning and I was bored out of my mind.

I still get calls from people requesting stuff from the format before once in a while. Every once in a while I get a stray caller who says they just came back from living in _fill in city here_, and they want to know what happened to rock, talk, etc. When we were talk I'd get people calling in to request John Lennon songs.

"Make-Believe Ballroom" she was 30 years behind the times.

Some people are causal listeners and not super fans and or message board posters.

If you remember Ron & Fez where on the Friday before the Super Bowl, then come Monday gone and never another mention on WNEW. The only clue was in the last moments of the show was a "Your moms box"

Ok in my defense that was 2 plus years ago ... and I have never have heard a replay of that show. I was just really pissed that the Buc's won and we could not enjoy it with R&F on Monday.

But I do remember they use to tease a "You mom's box ... because you never know" in the last weeks / months at WNEW.
