Internet war game

I found a game on the internet last summer and have been unable to find it since. The story is some futuristic war, and the game lets you command tanks etc. and call in air strikes while you upgrade buildings to help build military equipment. ANyone know what I'm talking about?

Was it a free game or a retail game? What you are describing reminds me of Command and Conquer: Generals.

I found it. It was "Crimson Warfare" The game would be better if the difficulty upgraded more.
