I was going "old school" this weekend on the board and saw some of the old RFW posts. I was remembering how much fun it was creating storylines from a simple idea Pantera would throw out. We had some great characters like Mr. Pochiello and his henchmen the Fransico Brothers, S.S. Byrd, Santiego Sandiego, The Blaze, Zero, The Prototype, Coda, and of course the awesome Max Silk (wink wink). I know I forgot to post some of them, but they were all really creative. Of course, some of us (OK, I) got real pissy when we didn't get our way with match results, but I still have fond memories.

I can't imagine how much work it was for Pantera to get that stuff together, and I think attempts to re-start it never got going. The new stuff with the RFWWE is cool, but I personally am more into the old RFW and how the quality of our promos and role-playing decided match results.

Sorry if I bored anyone with my trip down memory lane.

I hope that at Wrestlemania I'll make all the right choices for winners. Then I'll be back in my favorite position again. And that's on top, baby!

I hear ya Puddy and as you all can recall, I DOMINATED the original RFW! The very first RFW World Champion!

I led stables, I was the Prototype!

RF, that's because you never had to deal with "The Smooth Operator".

Old school IC Champ checkin' in :)

Honestly though, the WWE's direction is what changed the game the most. Many of the old players just gave up on watching.

It was always fun reading how you guys were developing characters. It was really a blast. I enjoyed playing along too.

Hey the idea of doing it this way came from not wanting to tell the loser of the match that he has to lay down for the other person. With this way of doing it you guys figured out who the winner was. I was just getting tired of putting up the 2 hour posts and spending time on adding up all the points. I asked John to make the game site. That made everything so much easier. The first old way went i think 3 PPV's that we created ourselves. Then we did things this way and went maybe 4 seasons of doing it by hand, BUT you guys were also role playing which was nice.

I still wish you guys would role play a bit. I would take on Fallon for my game back! ;)

I suck at roleplaying, that's the problem. I don't lead by example and for bringing this to my attention PanterA is curtian jerking for the next two months.

As one half of the RFW Tag Champion Wrecking Crew, former World and InterJontinental title holder, and leader of the Revolution, the group that fucked up the RFW for a while, I gotta say I just really got bored of wrestling.

I haven't watched a PPV since Wrestlemania and barely watch Raw now.
