Need suggestions from avid fans.

I'm trying to turn a friend on to the show and am looking for dates for some good discussions. I know about the logs, but the topics sometimes are done more than once. I'm looking for good ones like: old toys, old candies, movie and music discussions, superheroes, games they used to play as kids, etc. Stand alone segments that you don't need to know the regulars to get into. Listening to Ron berate a caller for a bad choice is always fun to listen to also. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have access to about 3 years worth of shows. Thanks

If I had to pick one show from the recent years, it would have to be when Rutger Hauer came on. That's R&F at their best...and Rutger's, too.

It wasn't even just when he was on as the guest...that whole show was great. It still sticks out in my mind after all this time.

From the DC days, grab the show when Paul-O's wife goes absolutely nuts and starts berating R&F on-air.

I can think of two:

1. The grandaddy of the bad guest segments: Dr. Kim discussing Chinese New Year with Ron, Fez, Iris, Andre and Kenny Allen. I've hooked in a few newbies with this one. Particularly, Kenny Allen's query regarding "robot teeth."

2. Following Charlie and Lisa's engagement on Don and Mike, Fez launches into a tirade about Lisa attempting to upstage his own impending nuptuals. This is a great primer on one R&F's chief gimmicks.

I also remember a bit from spring 2004 in which Ron and Fez went on at length about their dislike for Superman.

There's some other shows that have really good opening bits, like when they became "The Reef" when O+A called themselves an island or another time when there were rumors WNEW would go to a country music format. From earlier this year, when WJFK when Spanish, and last Friday's Bad Guest segment was one of the best they've done in quite a while.
