I've been going there for years...a really cool place in a really laid back town on the Delaware River...really green and quiet...I sincerely recommend it...lots of cool little stores selling stuff you can't find anywhere...

I live about 30 minutes from there. Really nice town and Lambertville is pretty cool too. Meow, Meow: The Cat Store is just awesome. I get my kids all their drugs there. Love Saves the Day is pretty cool too but a tad bit overpriced. it is nice to go in and look.

I have not been into Static Records yet but the town was in DIRE need of a record store.

The Triumph Brewing Company is pretty boss as well. Good beer and food.

my dad use to work at HAVANA which is on S. Main street doing their books or something like that

i love new hope also...luckily the weather will be getting nicer soon and i look forward to going there more often

i too only live 30 min from there as well

some of my favorite places are TOYS FOR MEN (has dicast models and tinker toys, etc) and Love Saves the Day- its awesome the crap you can find in there but i do agree it is pricey for crap

there use to be a make- up store called SCARLETT but i guess her company went under because it is not there anymore and her philly store is closed as well

i think i've been to New Hope, is that where Peddler's Village is?

no that is LAHASKA which is about 5- 10 min drive away from new hope but on the same road- rte 202

New Hope is my favorite place too, i like the Hot sauce store and they got that rockin place where you can get all that old eighties stuff and even this lady that reads cards, shes really good. Watch out for the big geese though, got bit on the ass once by them. Food is incredible out there

I have been going to New Hope for about 15 years now. Call it the Village of Eastern PA.
GREAT food and plenty to do there.

And Funk...peddlers village is about 10-15 mins from the main strip in New Hope.

New Hope's a lot of fun. The restaurants are good and it's fun to walk around on a spring day. As Fluff mentioned, Lambertsville is fun, too. I hate Peddler's Village, though. Take your significant other on a stroll, sit at one of the bars, and have a nice time.

New Hope = gay

small minded-ness is the work of the devil..haha

Okay, well, yeah, but you have to admit it is a pretty gay filled area. Besides that, I would want to go there on a Friday or Saturday night. Friend and I drove through it one night and it was pretty hopping. No parking so we gave up and drove to Atlantic City instead.

If anyone wants to check it out some weekend I'd be up for it.
