Anyone sense a Batista vs. Cena staredown at the very end of Wrestlemania as both World Champions? Maybe this will lead into something at the WWE Supershow in MSG?
And brother Rob, only reason I would have a tag team match on this card is if the Dudleyz return and take the titles away in some Tag Team Turmoil Match.

i was...he wouldn't stop grabbing at it.  that match kind of disappointed me.
the ladder match was cool.  the spot with Benjamin running up the ladder was awesome.

Ehh, it was just a little joke.  To tell you the truth, I really WISH I was still into the WWE.  When it was at it's best, it was something I could count on for entertainment every Monday, and once a month on a Sunday that I didn't mind paying for.  Now, it just eats dick and I'm sorry to see it eat said dick because I know how good it COULD be.

it was kind of a letdown...the ladder match was cool.  i thought there was going to be a battle royal?  i haven't gotten a PPV in a while and probably won't again for a longer period of time.

My top three matches:

1. HBK vs. Angle (Match of the Year Contender)
2. Money in the Bank Match (Benjamin was the breakout star, didn't mind Edge winning it)
3. Undertaker vs. Orton (The fact that my friend predicted the exact outcome with Taker floating over into the Tombstone freaked me out)

Highlights of the Night:

1. Hogan beating Hassan
2. Shelton's high spots on the ladder
3. Piper being Piper

Dissapointments of the Night:

1. Two title feuds leading up to mediocre matches.
2. Eddie and Rey not really doing their best.
3. Trish Stratus being given a match against Christy Hemme.

I'll give him a little credit. A couple of years ago he would want it back at the very next PPV, maybe even the next night's RAW. He's gotten a little better about that so I'm saying he "lets" Batista hold on to it until the next big PPV which is SummerSlam.

I actually expect every high profile Undertaker match to end that way. If Orton had actually beaten him with the tombstone I would've puked all over my TV. I stopped watching RAW right after Orton won the title last year and I think I'm done again. To me, the "beast" will always be the guy who can't say more than two sentences into a mic and screws up at least one move per match (Press Slam into an......almost literal neckbreaker). I'll observe and see if Edge wins the title or something because i'm certainly not ready for Lesnar 2.0 (not really new and improved though; he's what Windows '98 is to Windows '95)

No Surprise, the women's title match was the weakest of the
night.  You saw Trish coaching her every step of the way. 
And the offense Christy did pull off was weak.  I think Jay Leno
looked smoother in his match. Angle/Michaels was exactly
the match I thought it would be.  HBK has done nothing of quality
lately and I'm glad it was the match that stole the show. Ladder
match was cool, but the fact that they started using the ladder
immmediately surprised me.  For some reason it reminded me of a
lot of indy matches I've seen with a lot of people in them, everyone is
scrambling to get to their next spot and no real flow. Eddie/Rey
was ok, but to have the set up of Eddie having some animosity towards
Rey, and  having the man who lies, cheats and steals not lie,
cheat or steal to win the match at Wrestlemania. didn't make
sense.  It would have been nice to see Chavo come out to help
Eddie and reform Los Gurreros. Cena had almost no offense
in his match, and JBL seemed better then I thought he was.  I
think the fans will be into him but get bored fast.Taker/Orton
was okay.  Orton only had the one really good spot of the
Chokeslam into the RKO, but it was nice to see the cowboy with the
cast.  I honestly think it would pay for the cowboy to stick
around and help out his son.  And I hope Orton gets the message
with the rumored switch of the finish. Batista/HHH was the
better of the 2 title matches, but I don't know how long HHH will allow
himself to take the back seat.  If they manage it right, I can see
about 9 months of feuds for him.  HHH rematches, Edge constantly
trying to harrass him into a match without using his Money in the Bank
Match, and Orton being the heel hes become and challenge Batista for
who the future of wrestling is.

Is it really a surprise considering his ego? I expected him to want a rematch at the very next PPV. Hell, I expect him to want one tonight at RAW. Being Backlash is one of the minor PPVs, he won't win it back there. That's why I predict the next big one which is SS. As for Edge, I wouldn't be surprised to see him challenge for either the World or the IC belt tonight.

I haven't seen it yet, so I can't comment too much. But now that we are 13 hours into the Cena reign, I can already say that I miss JBL as champ. They managaed to find the worst possible contender to put over. Cena sucks man.

I know I do, but that's besides the point. If
that is really your reception, call your cable company and
complain.  That looks like the reception I used to get with my
rabbit ears.
