yeah they just were saying on Micheal Kay's show that they aint in the lineup anymore
Mike and Mike- 6 to 10, The Herd- 10 to 12, Stephen A. Smith- 12 to 2, Dan Patrick- 2 to 4 (how the fuck does this make sense), Michael Kay- 4 to 7, Max Kellerman- 7 to 8, Jim Rome- 8 to 11

Excuse my ignorance but I havent listened to ESPN in a while...who the hell is the "Herd"? And is it as awful as it sounds?

Colin Calherd (spelled wrong amost definitely) i think is from Philly and he subs in for lil Mike in the mornings sometimes. Or i have the wrong guy.
I don't know why Stephen A. and Dan Patrick can't get 3 hours each

Stephen A Smith is good, I hate him on TV, but when you give him a chance on the radio, he really ain't bad.

Anyway, he's pretty good, I used to listen to him here on 980 before they got Mista Tony again.
He's really into football, i think he devotes time every day to something about football
I really really liked that he was a huge college football fan like I am...I can't watch the NFL anymore....id rather watch paint dry

simple reason why they were (wrongly, they were the only entertaining show since they dropped Dibble from Dan Patrick's show) fired;

i don't understand why Dan Patrick can't just keep his 3 hours and then Stephen A. could get the other 3. I don't like new things like this Cowherd guy. And I too would rather listen to the "Scott Van Pelt as Stephen A. Smith" show.

I used to like ESPN radio.  I listened to wally and the keeg, brandon tierney, gordon daimer, don legreca and the pompous windbag Michael Kay.  I tried listening to Stephen A Smith over the christmas holiday, I had to turn off the radio.  His screams were earpiercing.  
 
Wally and the Keeg were really good and had an entertaining show and they allowed the fans to talk, not like Mike and the maddog who shout down their callers.   Jesus Christ, no more O&A, no more ron and fez, no more wally and the keeg.  End of the year no more Howard.  All my shows are gone or are leaving.  Guess back to cd's.  Can't get satellite because I am in an office building.  Can't get it off the computer because they block a lot of websites.

i don't know i didn't like them a ton, but i love Dan patrick's show. I don't even know why but its my favorite radio show that i can actually listen to now. I'm not even minding the Yankee-cocksucking Micheal Kay show. And I like Stephen A. Smith just because he's a walking stereotype of an angry, loud black man. You just can't get that on a regular basis anymore, especially on sports radio. Mybe Cowherds show will be good. but i doubts it

The only show on ESPN I'll listen to now is Warner Wolf, Saturday mornings 8-10am.

Why wouldn't they renew his contract? He was one of the better analysts they had at ESPN....He's lots better than Jeff Brantley...

Wally was just as bad as listening to the fucking Mad Dog. He didn't rant and shriek into the microphones about the Yankees, but every single time something occurred with that team he would sit there for 2 fucking hours and talk about what a potentially catastrophic event it could be, while Keegan would tell him over and over again about how he was exaggerating the situation. I agree with the previous poster that Keegan was pretty informative and intelligient but Wally should just team up with Russo and service one another.
