I have been recieving paychecks from a company for whom I have never worked.

I did agree to work for them, but found a better job before I ever started....

Holy shit, is it nice getting almost twice the monthly income for only half the work.
My quandry regards the rights of the company to reclaim the $$ vs weather they will ever catch on.

What would you do?

Not morally, of course, but how do you see a lawyer looking at this?

Thanks for any opinions or advice, especially from the many lawyers who I know make this forum their home....( that last part was a joke).

If it's too good to be true, it probably is. It's in check form, so there's a paper trail and it may come back to bite you on the ass at tax time.

My Gut instinct would have been to call them after I got the 1st check and never cashed any of them. But maybe you're more daring than me.

www.unhallowed.com
One Big SeXXXy Blog

Eventually, they'll realize their mistake. If you've cashed any of the checks, hopefully they'll politely ask for the money back and not sue you. If you don't have the money because you already spent it, you'll definitely get sued.
