Easy Jackie, the man lived a long life, thats all I am saying.

And while I am sure this is not a happy day for torker, I am sure he/she would not have named the thread "Grandpa....dead" like people do here for celebs if he/she was super distraught over the death of someone so close to 100. But if I offende you torker, sorry.

Sorry to hear that Torker. I lost my Nana at 93 last year, but in all
honesty the person I knew was gone years before. How was he at 98?
Can placebos cause side effects? And if so, are the side effects real?

He was all there up until this summer. Even at Christmas he was doing fairly well, but he knew it was his last Christmas.

I appreciate all your kind words. This shit won't hit me until the wake. Then I'll be ballin' like a baby.

I feel it's best to suppress my feelings, keep them all bottled up and then....

I think it's great that torker has a good enough sense of humor to come in here and start the thread with this title. Death is part of life. He's not poking fun at his grandpa's death or anything.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss torker. I prefer to greive alone as well, on my own terms, on my own time, in my own way. Maybe this is your way too. You may have to keep it together to help others during this time too. Just don't start breaking shit, because it's yours and you'll just have to clean it up later anyway.
