Where to get Scuba equipment in NJ/NY?

<p>Hi everyone,</p><p>My wife and I are just about to complete our PADI
open water certification and we would like to start buying our own
equipment. We purchased the bare necessities from the local dive shop
(fins, boots, snorkel, mask) and although they are nice guys, their
prices were very high. Does anyone know a decent sized shop in the
NY/NJ area? I figure that a larger shop would have more reasonable

Im pretty sure that theres a scuba place on Old Country Road in Westbury Long Island. Right near the Source Mall.

<p>Do you live anywhere near Milburn/Short Hills?</p><p>If so there is a shop in the center of town that is a scuba place.&nbsp; Let me know if you need more info.&nbsp;</p>

<p><font size="1">Im pretty sure that theres a scuba place on Old Country Road in Westbury Long Island.</font> Its right off the northern State parkway as a matter of fact. I could have sworn that some Ski shops also sell so scuba equiptment in the off season of skiing</p>

There is also one on Jericho Tpke in Mineola.&nbsp; The one on OCR is bigger though.&nbsp;
