Wait, when was the last time Heckler was even on the show?Dex, man, you show up and all your first few posts are bashing people on the show.  Relax and unclench...you'll feel better...Unless you actually ARE Heckler, in which case, touche, big man...touche.

I recall a thread very recently where someone was asking why new people get shit. This is a prime reason why. It is wrong to class all new people into the category of being treated like pledges but it does take one fucking asshole like this to cause all to think dispariganly about all new posters whether consciously or sub-consciously. To you Dex, I hope all your children die of SIDS, that you get a case of the SuperAIDS and that life is wonderfully painful and short.

It seams like the favorite line people use when they are bitching about a R&F regular is "brings nothing to the show". R&F have been in this business a long time. They decide who gets on the air. If you people who say this line really believe such and such guest brings nothing to the show, then you apparently don't have much respect for Ron & Fez.

I agree Dex. I've thought the same thing for years, but as I was aware of the world of shit that would befall anyone who dared mention it, I bit my tongue. He's been around for ages and isn't going anywhere, so live with it. PapaBear is correct, R&F decide who gets on the show. This leads nicely to my next point. When R&F don't have a lot to work with sometimes it leads to comparatively slow radio. Hence Friday night. The show started off like a classic. I began to think the cloud was really lifting. Then the open door policy kicked in.Now, before everyone jumps on my throat and wishes diseases on my next of kin, let me say this; When you go on a popular radio show, you open yourself to criticism.I am fully aware of the support and input the DC listeners have given to the show, but the universe does not revolve around you. We now have Tender with his highly produced but always ultimately dull and irrelevant songs up against whatever BoBo calls the noises he makes with instruments (with good lyrics). And the fucking life stories every five minutes. No-one cares, stop making it all about you everytime you get a mic.Anyone remember when someone made a dick of themselves on the show, the callers would be all over them? And they could handle it, fight back and make a decent bit for the show. Now the slightest hint of criticism and people are spiralling. This has led to a fucking lovefest. Only taking nice calls and compliments for even the dullest of bits that involve listeners.Again, R&F decide what we hear. It's just a shame they don't have more to work with (except their own genius).

Sure, people stand up for people on the board, but calls on the show constantly go through with insults about other callers/guests. Look at how much abuse Crazy Jen, Perrynoid Mikey D, etc get on air. You put a lot of thought in your post, but I'm just not getting what you were trying to say.

NY? Good times. I thought he did pretty good for a guy w/ no radio
experience. Much better than when Al or Wonderboy w/their airtime. If someone doesn't like Heckler, so be it. Cant please everyone. Their loss.

opinion value  = # of posts / months of listening to R&F * 3.14159265 .......NO, because that would mean that DC listeners are all already at a marked disadvantage, because NYC had R&F 1st.  How about you just bring some substance to the board.
