Just saw him at the Beacon last Friday with the Imposters (the orginal
Attractions sans the bass player). First time Ive seen him despite
being a fan for long time. Incredible show. And yes, for the wise asses
I know its 2005. EC ftw.

i drove all the way down to AC to see t he show at the borgata on saturday night ...

one of the best shows i've ever seen: two hour; 28 songs; no encore ... dave hidalgo from los losbos sat in for the second half of the show, they just kicked ass ...

they played 'suspicious minds' at the end of alison ... 'matter of time,' 'uncomplicated,' 'clubland' and the stuff from delivery man just rocked ...

and the sweetest cherry on top of the greatest sundae, the played nick lowe's great, immortal stiff single 'heart of the city'

great, great show ... i hope to get tickets for the central park show with emylou' vocal stylings ...

.

"King of America" was just re-released today in the last of Rhino Record's re-release of most of his album catalog. Great, great album, and a whole disc of extra songs...we'll worth the extra bucks.

Did anyone catch the opening act of Sondre Lerche? Im not sure if he's
opening for EC at all the tour stops. He's from Norway and played
solo with just a Gretsch. He was amazing, so much so that I bought an
album from Itunes. We really enjoyed his set.

I met Elvis back in 85' maybe 84' . I met him and his mother his mother was this Little british lady with you know british teeth. and He is Really Big in person. barrel chested, bouncer looking dude. Not at all like the Little nerd on the album covers. He was very nice and introduced me to his Mother. It was her first time here in America. Very nice people. I also saw him at Jones Beach back then abouts it was a great show he is an amazing lyricist. And his songs are fun and danceable

"Good Times/Noodle Salad, Thats my story"
