Many blame the downfall of wrestling on Vince McMahon and the WWE writers. I believe that is a factor, to a degree, but overall I blame it on Triple H for destroying the company by demanding the spotlight remain on him at all times. For a while there I was starting to give him a little credit because it looked like he was finally doing what was right for the company and letting other talent be put over, but it's painfully apparant that he is back to his old ways and refuses to let anyone else in the company shine besides himself.

Tonight, when Batista threw HHH over the top rope, it looked like he may have landed funny and I honestly sat there praying he tore something in his knee or better yet broke the leg. It's sick, but when you see someone destroying one of the guilty pleasures you have loved for years, you wish bad things upon them. Just imagine how many others would finally be given a shot to at least compete in the main event if that fucking egomaniac was out of the picture.

Here's a little bit of info to show just how much he hogs the spotlight and refuses to let anyone else dare have a shot. Since coming back from his torn quad at the 2002 Royal Rumble, there have been 34 PPVs that were either RAW specific or were combined shows. Out of the 34 PPVs, Triple H has been in the main event 28 times. 28 out of 34! That is mind boggling and pretty sad if you think about it.

I don't claim to know much about the inner workings of Wrestling, but I have to say that seeing the same guy for years is kinda boring. I used to really dig HHH when I watched, but yea. Let others shine man. If it is true that HHH is keeping the company watching him, that's really shitty.

As for wishing harm on others, I usually DON'T because I believe in karma of some sort. I usually reserve evil wishes for people who REALLY get under my skin, personally. If HHH did this for you, I totally understand your ill wishes.

I wonder sometimes if the net was around Hogan's WWE run in the 80's would people give him jsut as much shit as most give HHH. I agree that he's been a spotlight hog, but I have to say that I respect the fact he's been at least dedicated enough to put his body through what he puts it through, hoe many others do you think on the current roster would do that? I also have to say that as a performer in the ring, he's actually one of the better performers out there (his only weakness is that he rely's on that "old-school" style of psychology to much, and his promo style is irritating)

It would be nice if he would take 3-4 months from actively wrestling and stay behind the scenes to help the other workers with their skills, but he won't for many more years to come....

See, but the difference between HHH's run and Hulk Hogan's run is that Hulk Hogan didn't suck.

See, but the difference between HHH's run and Hulk Hogan's run is that Hulk Hogan didn't suck

The difference is Hulk Hogan is the biggest
star the wrestling world has ever seen and HHH is a guy who in a
perfect world is a mid-carder who can headline occasionally.

Him
and Stephanie are the reasons I don't watch wrestling anymore. I am a
huge Chris Jericho fan. I was at Wrestlemania 18 and saw him in the
main event. It was that event that started making me move away from
wrestling. I bought the tickets before I knew Jericho would headline.
When he won the title, I felt like I won the lottery. I was going to be
able to see him defend the title at Wrestlemania.

And then I saw
how they were going to sell it. It wasn't going to be Jericho vs. HHH.
It was going to be HHH vs. Stephanie. Jericho was going to be her lap
dog. She was going to take all his mic time. There was no reason at all
for her to be involved with Jericho. But HHH and Stephanie can't
comprehend anything selling without having themselves involved.

And
then, of course, because it's all about HHH, he puts his own match
after Rock vs. Hogan, the obvious main event. I was there in Toronto,
at Axxess. All anyone was talking about was Hogan back at Wrestlemania.
That what people wanted to see. And the crowd was spent after Rock vs
Hogan. No one cared about HHH vs. Jericho, people were leaving. What
could have been a good match was torpedoed. And, because it coudln't
possibly be HHH's fault, I knew Jericho never had a shot at holding the
title again. As that truth dawned on me over the coming months, that
Jericho was destined for the mid-card for the rest of his career and
that I would watch the same fued over and over again with someone
rotated in and out of the non-HHH role, I decided it was time to move
on.

I moved on, and I'm not looking back. I am waiting for the
day Stephanie divorces HHH. I hope for the day Vince realizes what a
waste she is. Then I'll laugh, but I'm not coming
back.

not sure where i read it, but someone said exactly what I feel about HHH...he isn't getting the heel heat from me he wants...he is getting X-Pac heat from me. I really hate the guy. His segments aren't entertaining, they are very, very boring. its the same 20 minute interview everytime. he comes out and i usually shut the TV off. thats not the type of heel heat he is supposed to be getting. i just wish the crowds would go into loud BORING chants as soon as HHH grabs a mic. it would be great.
