I wish Jean Reno would fall back into his "Leon" character from "The Professional" and put a bullet in Steve Martin's eye.

What an abomination.

Who the hell thought this would be a good idea? Steve Martin as Clouseau what a joke. Which actor do the board members think would have been better in the part. Having seen the Peters Sellers movie I think Geoffrey Rush could have pulled off the part well.

I think Geoffrey Rush could have pulled off the part well.

good choice... i think Geoffrey recently played the 'person' Peter Sellers in a movie. He did a nice job but didn't capture the 'comedy level' that Peter had done so well... it's a tough decision on who could do the job adequately, and adequate is all it will ever be. They should leave this one alone...

I think the whole idea is an insult to the original. I'll still probably watch it on HBO, though.
