View Full Version : United Wrestling Coalition FREE Show May 1st

As some of you may or may not know (or know and don't really care), I'm a valet/manager/whatever with the United Wrestling Coalition. As our promotional department is, well, non-existant at the moment, I wanted to let you guys know that we are having a FREE show this coming weekend. On Sunday, May 1st, at 1 pm, the UWC will be part of Burlington County College's Spring Fest in Pemberton, NJ. We will be having an outdoor show (weather permitting; rain date is Saturday, May 7th). Although I don't know the full card as of yet, I DO know that my client, Section 8, will be taking part in a tournament to declare a new US champion (the title was recently vacated by Jay Lethal). I will be in his corner as he takes on Prisoner 08041 in the quarter finals of the tournament. Again, the show is absolutely FREE (as is admission to Spring Fest). If anyone is interested in attending, PM me and I can give you directions. Keep in mind, this is a FAMILY-ORIENTED show. I dont think the mods would minds, Peach...I'm one of the biggest shill whores in this forum and no one seems to have issue with that.

UWC shows are always a fun time ( and i'm not just saying that because i'm a former UWC champ).

It's because the shows dont have that "smart mark" atmosphere. the shows are geared towards families, and the shows are as straight forward as can be...a ring, some good guys, some bad guys ( As Candido would say, a "dastardly, dastardly man") and a ref....thats all you really need.

The Spring Fest also has all sorts of yummy foods to eat while you watch Grown men roll around in their underwear.

and while i'm no longer with UWC, i always had a great time there. Say hi to Section 8, and the Thomas' clan for me.

For those who were wondering (and even if you weren't, too bad), the show did go off Sunday as planned, although Mother Nature kept us pretty nervous till about an hour before belltime.Here are the results:Style and Structure (Bill Ding & Chocolate Boy Wonder) defeated The New Super Jocks (Hot Shot Mike Reed & Big Shot Ralph Van Deurs) (with Jim Molineaux) In a semi-final match for the US championship, Tommy Force defeated Dave Patera and Andy Christ in a Three Way Match Jake Bishop defeated Robert Pigeon In a semi-final match for the US championship, Section 8 (with Major Burns) defeated 08041 (with Officer Big and 08015) Philly Madison & Max Gaeta (with Joe Rules & Beth) defeated Ricky Landell & Ed Kazar Cindy Rogers (with Joe Rules & Beth) defeated Alere Little Feather Damian Adams, Josh Daniels, & Rob Eckos defeated The Unholy Alliance (Bobby Piper, Reckless Youth, & Twiggy Ramirez) (with Don Montoya) Unfortunately, the next scheduled UWC show isn't until December.  Fortunately, at that show, I will be managing Section 8 against Tommy Force in the final match to determine the new US champion.
