Do I call her to see if she got them?

<p>My best friend really helped me out while I was in the hospital so I sent her a really nice bouquet of roses to thank her. I sent them to her work. I tracked the Fed Ex number and they arrived and were signed for but not by her. She hasn't called or e-mailed to say she got them. It's been two days.</p><p>Is there some sort of &quot;etiquette&quot; regarding this? I don't want to be a scmuck and be like, &quot;Did you get them? Did you get them?&quot; but it would be nice to know if she got them or not.</p>

I would wait at least one more day. After that give her a call and say that you wanted to show your thanks and found out they were delivered and that you were worried if she didnt recieve them. And make sure to emphasize that you werent looking for any reciprocation of thanks.

<p>don't these situations stink.... it's like sending flowers to a funeral which you cannot attend. you just have to place faith in that they got delivered. Although just recently we almost always send a 'garden dish' so it can be taken home and it never got delivered. We knew because we attended this funeral. We worked it out with the florist and had it sent directly to our friends home. You know, not really sure if they got it at home and that was a few months ago.</p><p>it's really just making a decision of whether to 'not worry about it'&nbsp;,&nbsp;or just decide to call and ask. </p><p>give her a call...&nbsp; see how she's doing today</p>
