Without a doubt it would have to be the Road Warriors for me. Only in their prime though.

The latter L.O.D. version in the WWE was a shell of their former team.

Definitely gonna show my age here, but when Mike Rotundo and Barry Windham beat the Shiek and Nikkeli Volkoff that may have been the best tag team match ever (at least to a 6 year old). Favorite team has to be a tie between the Brittish Bulldogs and the Hart Foundation. Either of those teams is better than anything out there today!

Trust me, it won't hurt.

Growing up in NY with the WWF the tag teams weren't the greatest with the Strongbows and the Wild Samoans. It seemed that tag team guys just couldn't make it on their own. When I finally got to see the NWA on TV and saw the Road Warriors they just seemed like violence personified.
Couldn't agree more
as those were my big three. But I also loved the Killer Bees
growing up and i'm not ashamed to admit but i was a big fan of The
Southern Boys/ Young Pistols in wcw 1990-1991. Just watch thier
match with the Midnight Express from Great American Bash 1990 to see
how great they were. But what is more suprising is that The
Hollywood Blondes has yet to be mentioned as Pillman and Austin
together were fantastic but were not given the proper push and were
forced to flounder against Dos Hombres and not the Steamboat/ Douglas
version but rather the sitty substitute of Steamboat/ Zenk under masks

I liked when the Killer Bees wore masks and they had S.D. Jones (brilliantly dubbed S.D. Bee by Heenan at the time) to help them. One bee would get hurt ( a white guy) while S.D. Jones would roll in and the ref would never even notice that they switched white for black pure wrestling genius.

But all time - Hogan and Beefcake we will call ourselves the the MegaManiacs.

Yokozuna and Owen Hart great tag team, hart foundation, Edge and Christian/Hardy Boyz/Dudleys feud from about 6 years ago the best summer of tag team matches ever. Power and glory with Hercules and Paul Roma were good, and if Luger hadn't left the WWF for WCW the Luger/Bulldog team could have had promise. Almost forgot Pillman and Austin as the Hollywood Blondes - you could see then that both of those guys were destined to be stars even then

Bottome line there are simply too many tag teams to name them all.
ODB is free

Two way tie and without a doubt my all time favorites:

1: The Road Warriors. True bad asses in every sense of the word. Back in the day when wrestling in the southern wreslting factions, they were the guys they called to do those "real" matches. I forget what the term is. Point is when someone got out of line and didn't follow the rules they were put into matches with these two and got the shit knocked out of them for real.

2. The Valiant Brothers. The 1st team I ever followed in wrestling so I took a special liking to them. I still remember their handshake they'd do prior to each match. Jimmy and Johnny and then Later Jimmy and Jerry.
