Well now that 2005 was officially a bust, let's start looking forward to the 2006 baseball season!

*Torre is gone. 
*Stottlemyer is gone. 
*Kevin Brown was murdered. 
*Randy Johnson is a dinosaur. 
*Bernie Williams requires a wheelchair to get around. 
*Cashman failed to re-sign Matsui cuz he was too busy regretting not signing Jon Lieber. 
*And I'm killing myself.

worry. I'm sure they'll
sign Nolan Ryan to be their new ace, and Willy Mays to be the new
CF. Oh, and they'll probably trade their entire farm system in a three
way trade for Curt Schilling after his ankle falls off, and Barry Bonds
with his new artificial knee.

All Yankee bashing aside, I really dont see the Yankees makin the
playoffs this year. They are a middle of the pack team at best right
now, and unless they get younger and better fast, theyll be out of the
race before you know it. Deny it all you want, but come September, itll
be Baltimore or Boston in as the winners of the AL East while the
Yankees are having their early bird specials at the elderly community
diner...

Lets see. .  . .summer's coming up pretty soon. Hmmmmm. I can-Go fishing-See a show at Jones Beach-Drive out to the East End of L.I. 
-Have a BBQ with a few friends 
And when there's absolutley nothing better to do, I can always watch the Yanks lose.

As crazy as Kevin was typing, the dude was dead on balls correct. This bailing shit makes you come off as a spoild fan who can not tolerate the slightest bit of error from human beings. Will the Yanks make the playoffs? If they keep playing the way they are now than no. I'm sorry for the Crazy typing guys. But you guys are making Us Yankee fans look Immature and spoiled. Like i said before its May 4th we will be up 10 come august and all of you bandwagon jumpers along with the Yankee haters Like ESPN and everybody else thats gleefully prematurely dancing on this teams grave. Will come off looking really really stupid. So guys just relax here a bit. And thanks Game for being the only other sane Yankee fan here. Did any of you guys get whiplash from turning on your team so quickly?  You've been fucking spoiled by a dynasty.  My team has sucked for 7 years, and I still followed them, watched the games (when televised in my area), and considered myself a fan.  It's still early, and if in fact the team does suck for the year, roll with it.  That's what real fans do.

 I dont think you mean me, but I was 8 years old in 1977 when I became a Yankee fan.   And
anyone who thinks this is just a bad stretch isn't paying attention,
and watching every game like me. This team has DEEP problems. The most
troublesome thing is Randy Johnson, Pavano, Jeter, A-Rod, Sheffield
(the core of the team) has been fine. And they still suck. Not good. And
Kev, most of those amazing comeback teams had key players that were
injured who came back and the team got going. Not the case here.
Everyone's healthy, they just suck.

Actually there was an article in the Post about who from the Yankees
organization could suceed Torre. The favorite was Bucky Dent whos
managing AAA Columbus right now. And then theres Joe Girardi who has
several months worth of coaching experience...or Mattingly who...well
Im not sure hes done much if anything so far...but hey, hes Don fucking
Mattingly.

 My choice is
Girardi. I dont think Mattingly wants it, and he hasn't distinguished
himself as Batting coach. Would prefer a little more seasoning, though.
 Speaking of seasoning, dont you think Kevin Brown would be good
on a rotisserie skewer with some nice Jerk sauce? Or BBQ sauce, either
way. Plus, maybe a metal skewer rod through his spine would straighten
out that bad back of his. After were done eating him, of course.

I dont remember what came of Sheff demanding an extention in spring training but I hope to God he didnt get it and I hope they let his ass walk.  We need htis Diaz guy to start catching more and we all know Giambis worthless.  Stick Brown in the Pen.  Play Phillips at 1st, stick Crosby in center and move Matsui and Womack where they belong.  After that plan on eating massive portions of several contracts and deal off Sheff, Gordan, Quantrill, Giambi, Brown, Wright and maybe even Posada.  As far as I'm concerned we have a SS, 3b, closer, LF and 2 SP's that are safe and I'm lookin to deal off everybody else for decent prospects.  The defense sucks, the hitting usually sucks, most of the starting pitchers suck and the bullpen sucks.

Yeah, who the hell is Diaz?And who the fuck would want to
take on Giambi or Brown? Wright? Even Gordon? Even if the Yankees pay
