If your vote is for another, mention it in a post. Overall, this is a tough call.
<p>All-time: Simpsons</p><p>Right Now: Venture Brothers </p>

<p>"Comedy" cartoon?</p><p>As opposed to WHAT?!?</p>
<img src="http://scripts.cgispy.com/image.cgi?u=TheMojoPin">
1979 << On the streets of your town... >> "You can tell some lies about the good times we've had, but I've kissed your mother twice...and now I'm working on your dad..."
As opposed to action cartoons?
Like Batman and Superman cartoons for instance?<br />

<p>Ah, touche.</p><p>I guess I was thrown that he only picked "primetime" cartoons (Well, except for the Adult Swim stuff), which have ALWAYS and only been comedies.</p>

Beavis and Butthead really opened the door for most of what we see today.
Trust me, it won't hurt.

<p>Mojo, there a lot of cartoon types as Hbox stated. Such as Anime.</p><p>Kevcala, I agree totally with your view on King of the Hill. You also cracked me up with your take on Robot Chicken.</p><p>Donnielimes, nice call with The Tick. The cartoon version was as good as the sitcom version on Fox was bad.</p><p><img src="http://members.aol.com/dxixrxt/spoon2.jpg" border="0" /> </p><p>Get your balls out of your purse and step up to flavor! <p>Family Guy is the shiz. It actually makes me laugh out loud.</p><p>Futurama is another fave of mine. That show is TOTALLY under-rated.</p><p>South Park is always good for a chuckle. Even the new ones.</p><p> </p><p>HONORABLE MENTION: The Ambiguosly Gay Duo. (wow, did I spell that wrong or what?!)</p>

<p>Home Movies is my all time favorite. I'm so bitter it's cancelled.</p><p><strong>McGuirk</strong>-I don't lend money to 8 year olds Brendon; at least not anymore. If you see Billy tell him I'm looking for him.</p>

How does King of the Hill get 4 votes while South Park gets none? Fess up King fans, give us some reasoning.

If you like The Tick, you should look at Venture Bros. Funny as hell and written by a lot of the same people.

Yeah, Ben Edlund, who created the Tick, even wrote one of the episodes.
My personal favorite have been some of the bit characters. Like Tiny Attorney. And Girl Hitler.
