I've always thought it would be cool if you had a childhood friend that hit it big but was still just your high school buddy i.e. "Entorage" on HBO. Maybe you and Vince Vaugh go back like car seats. Vince comes over a couple times a year when he's in town. He's still just "Vince " or "Vin" to you. Maybe Michael Caine was in your wedding party.

Anyone friends with someone famous?

You know that kid in the Science class in Joe Dirt? The one that accidentally makes mustard gas? Went to elementary school with him. For a year. I doubt he remembers me. Very nice guy, but never really got to know him. He moved away to somewhere. Eh...o well.

His brother was the son in the failed TV sitcom "Aliens in the Family". The human son.

Shows you how boring my life really is.
YANKEES FAN SINCE BIRTH!

I thought the point of this thread was to see if anybody was buddies with someone famous. Not, my uncles brother once saw this guy who was a background lion in Thundercats.

Theyre not very famous, but I know Phil Baroni and Matt Serra (UFC). A
friend of mine introduced me to Phil. Me and Matt went to junior high
together and were actually pretty good friends. His cousin is actually
one of my best friends...
My wife is related to Danny Aiello and that blowhard "voice of the Yankees" Michael Kay. That guy is so F'ing full of himself it is disturbing. That guy is such a homer for the Yankees that he actually defended Giambi when he admitted the steroid.

Trust me, it won't hurt.

The kid that played "C" in the Bronx Tale, I had the pleasure of punching in the face repeatedly. He was filming Renaissance Man w/ Danny Devito at the time, we met in a club, he was a pompous cocksucker, and got obnoxious. In some scenes in the movie, you can see the stitches over his right eye. Kinda nice. I think he was killed off in a Soprano's episode too, one of CChristopher's flunkies.

I went into a 7-11 a few weeks after the Redskins Super Bowl win in 1992. I saw this guy with his kids all buying Hungry Man Dinners. They were all wearing Redskins Superbowl jackets. I said to them, "wow, you must really like the Skin". The kids lauged at me. When I got to the counter, the Korean checkout women were getting his autograph. They left and the Koreans were saying "Redskin, Redskin..." I went out the door just in time to see a giant Mercedes pulling out with a licence plate that said EB 21. Damn... I just asked Ernest Byner's kids if they liked the Redskins.
