i haven't been so excited for a PPV in a long, long time.  from the ad they ran, which was just like the old TV ads, to the quick ECW chant by the crowd tonight.  this better be good.  they say its going to have the ECW look to it...meaning cheaper looking...and thats how i want it.  it probably will suck, but i can't wait.

Those prices are obscene.&nbsp; ECW was a lower budget show, but their
ticket prices were also cheaper than the big two, which was just one of
the things that appealed to their fans.<br />

<p>I actually dug Bischoff getting pissed and cancelling the ECW Rules match between Tajiri and Benoit and banning everything and anything related to ECW on RAW. I wonder if Smackdown will do the same with Teddy Long.</p><p>Hmmm... so ECW won't be a third entity? I think it would be a fun addition.</p>

i think it will be okay.&nbsp; the tickets are so much money that only true ECW fans will probably buy them.&nbsp; and i think they know if they put on a WWE type ECW match the crowd will eat them alive.&nbsp; so hopefully they will be more like real ECW matches.&nbsp; i would love to go live, but don't want to pay that much money...actually i would, but don't want to go by myself(i know i'll be laughed at if i ask any friends to pay that much money).&nbsp; so i'll just get the PPV and hope for the best.

<p>the Lawler invasion was awesome.&nbsp; but that was because it was a surprise.&nbsp; and the beating he gave Dreamer was awesome.&nbsp; the crowd was going nuts.&nbsp; </p><p>i wish they would just take Bischoff out of this.&nbsp; let it be an ECW event...no need to involve him unless he gets put through a HUGE table spot.&nbsp; with there being no element of surprise it will suck.&nbsp; now if he showed up when ECW was still around it would have been great.</p>

Floor tickets have been lowered to $100 and the expensive tickets now get you into a meet &amp; great prior to the show. Really sucks for the people that paid all that money on day 1.

<p>I was an ECW fan during it's original run, so maybe i'm not being objective, but that was THE Greatest PPV I've ever seen! Rey/Psichosis was definitely the low point of the night. Fans even booed the cheesy 6-1-9, even when he did it to Bischoff.</p><p>I marked out at least once during every match. </p><p>Best line of the night was a close up of edge</p><p>Joey Styles: I'm glad i didn't bring my wife.</p><p>The whole show was great from beginning to end. I would have liked to hear Joel Gertner a bit more but besides that i was pleased.</p>

<p>This PPV delivered like a motherfucker.&nbsp; I would have liked to have seen Raven &amp; the Franchise, but I understand why they weren't there.&nbsp; I would have loved to see RVD wrestle, but I understand that he couldn't.&nbsp; I'm glad Joey was there, although it almost felt wrong seeing him, but he obviously was swallowing his pride for the fact that the fans wanted him there.</p><p>Only complaint of the night, and it's nobody's fault but the asshole who did it, came when Paul E was shooting on everyone &amp; brought up Matt Hardy &amp; that low-life piece of shit Edge continued to give the Version 1 sign with his hand.&nbsp; What an unlikable human being.</p><p>But it was overall a great night, and the first WWE PPV I would say was worth the money in years.&nbsp; Can't wait for both of these DVDs to come out.</p>

stole the show. super crazy's balcony spot was amazing. the shoots were
better than anything RF Video ever did. </p><p>i hope that the fact
that the curses were bleeped (even though it was PPV) &amp; the fact
that most of the &quot;extreme spots&quot; were done after 9pm is a prelude to an

<p>I was there, and I have never been to an event with such a hot crowd. I thought there might be a brawl with some of the WWE guys - all it would take is one drunk fan to start it.</p><p>Best match was easily Tanaka v Awesome. The crowd was chanting &quot;boring&quot; during parts of Ray v Psychosis (along with chanting&quot;put on your mask&quot; and booing the 619 both times). You could barely hear any of the promos all night cause the crowd was so hot.</p><p>Overall it was a great show.</p>

I've been a wrestling fan for almost 15 years. While I may not have the international knowledge of some hardcore "smartmarks," I have seen a lot of what North American wrestling has had to offer. In all that time, of all the pay per views and big time shows I've seen, this was the best wrestling event ever. I almost couldn't believe it was actually happening while I was watching the show. The talent was like a dream ECW roster, the production was crisp and clean without betraying ECW's integrity, the announcing team was unmatched in its' perfection. The fans were exiting, energetic, entertaining and for the most part, very respectful to the organization they helped resurrect.

Even if there were a few slip-ups here and there they were so brief and sandwiched with some much great action that you couldn't notice it. Everyone involved except that asshole Bradshaw played there parts well. I even have to give credit to Bishoff for being a great heel and having the guts to step foot into a VERY hostile environment. The crew should be very proud of what they accomplished last night, putting together a show that honors the memory of ECW to a "T."

I have Tommy Dreamers blood on an ECW magazine from when he gave me an autograph after a show at the &quot;Madhouse of Extreme&quot; in Queens N.Y.&nbsp; and you can see me on the dvd as well as the best of Dudley Boyz dvd that came out a few years ago. About last night............

<p>
What turned out to be a beautiful weekend came to end on a sour note. I
guess by now you all know what happened last night between Bradshaw and
myself. It's no secret that Bradshaw never liked me from my first day
in the WWE to my last. What I did to the guy to piss him off I don't
know but then maybe I never needed to know. Bradshaw has always had the
rep of being a bully and a liberty taker in the ring and he also has a
rep of getting away with it.
</p><p> Once the ECW/WWE brawl started I paired of with Coach and I
felt a punch come from out of nowhere. My first instinct was to hit
back BUT I also had the issue of trying to protect the 14 staples I
have in my head. I got some rib shots in the best I could but he got
the upper hand with going to my face, opening a fresh wound on my
forehead and swelling my eye.
</p><p>All I saw was red as the blood fill me eyes and I believe it
was Maven I pulled on top of me to get him to &quot;choke&quot; me. After he got
cleared out guys came up to check on me and we went on the other deal
with Austin and Bischoff and the big post brawl party in the ring. As
F***ed up as what Bradshaw did, the crowd reaction had me so buzzed
that I didn&rsquo;t feel anything. </p><p>
I got to the back and Bradshaw was in a part of the gorilla position.
He came over like he was going to do something else but people got in
between. He was yelling about me talking about him on the Internet. The
rest of what he said I didn&rsquo;t hear cause I was too busy saying, &ldquo;Yo,
it&rsquo;s a work!&rdquo; and &ldquo;Dude, the business is a F***in work!!&rdquo; So I did the
best thing anyone could ever do in the situation and just walked away.
</p><p>I got stitched up and said my goodbyes. A lot of the guys were
pissed and asked what happened. When I told them they were pissed even
more. We got home and all I have been doing is popping Aleve and icing
my face and reflecting. All this happened over was me calling him a
bully. Well John, you just proved me right. </p><p>
In closing I want to say thank you to everyone who ran Hardcore
Homecoming Friday night. I wanna say thank you to the WWE for giving EC
Dub an opportunity to shine last night. I wanna say to the rest of the
WWE workers and staff a big thank you for the hospitality. It was great
catching up with all of you. To my EC Dub brothers and sisters I wanna
say I love you. I was in heaven seeing all of you this weekend and
doing it one more time. To the fans I wanna say I love you because with
out the fans we wouldn&rsquo;t have been anywhere without you this past
weekend. I will be going back to icing my face and ponder if I will be
wrestling on this weekend's 3PW show. I will probably pull off of it so
I can properly heal these stitches and staples. Plus we all know chicks
dig scars.

<p>This hasnt been mentioned much, but what did you guys think of Stone
Cold being there? I mean of everyone there, hes probably more of
a &quot;WWE Guy&quot; than any of the WWE guys that were there. </p><p> </p><p>Besides
that, I finally got to watch it today, better late than never. Great
fuckin show. The Storm-Jericho match was solid. Awesome-Tanaka was
cool. Great hearing Joey Styles again, he and Foley did an awesome
job. I thought the Sandman entrance was awesome, especially when
the audience got really into it and started singin along with the song.
I kinda wish theyd let guys like Tommy and Sandman at Bischoff, not
just those currently employed by the WWE (Dudleys, Benoit, Rey).
Definitely one of the best wrestling events Ive ever seen. Cant wait to
get the Hardcore Homecoming DVD... </p>

Because I lived in Texas I had never got a chance to see ECW, but I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The interaction with the fans was great. </p><p>The guys worked as hard as they could work, which is always fun to watch. Sandman&rsquo;s entrance was probably one of the best entrances I have ever seen in wrestling. It is amazing what works and what doesn&rsquo;t. If you had said that a guy with a cigarette in his mouth drinking beer would be the highlight of the night, I would think you were crazy. However, it was. Charisma like that is just innate, you can&rsquo;t teach it. </p><p>The last match was fun to watch. I have always been a fan of The Dudleys. I thought they put on a great show with Tommy Dreamer. </p><p>Chris and Eddie had their normal solid outing. Mike Awesome tried to kill himself, and you could tell the fans appreciated it. I missed Lance Storm and Jericho, though I heard it was very good. </p><p>I wish RVD had been well for this, you could tell how much it meant to him.
