Wasted trip to the bank

<p>File this under something that would happen to Pants.</p><p>A&nbsp;month or so ago I redeemed some shares from a mutual fund to pay some bills. I never received the check so I called my mutual fund company to cancel the check and reissue a new one. Last week the check arrived. </p><p>It's been sitting on my desk so today I decided to take the trek to the bank. Ran some other errands. Enjoyed the beautiful weather.</p><p>I get home and open my mailbox. There was the NEW and GOOD check. </p><p>That trip cost me $30 motherfucking dollars. No good deed goes unpunished. </p>

<p>i used to like to visit some of the 'older' banks in jersey city. The Hudson City on what was Grove and Pavonia, the bank on Newark Ave near the Palace drugstore(i think it had a big 'old time'scale in it). And the bank down by the Flamingo diner. It was like visiting an 'old time' theater. Now all the banks where i live are newer and modern and just seem cold and lifeless...</p>

<p>Ehh, that eats it.&nbsp; I mean sure, getting out in the beautiful weather was great, but the lost cash is ghey.</p><p>I say, go back the bank and kick 30 dollars worth of ass to make it up.</p>
