Okay, here we go again with the tease that Flair may turn face again. With last night's interactions between Batista and Flair, it appears like they want to turn Flair good and get him away from HHH. Unfortunately this has been done two other times of note and both times were yet another lame swerve.

First was when HBK was still in the title picture and he had a segment with Flair basically telling him to stop riding coattails and be your own man. Flair then had a match with HHH and appeared to be turning, but lo and behold it was a swerve on HBK and he got the beatdown.

Then we fast forward to Randy Orton's face turn. He too had a segment with Flair and basically hyped him and gave him his due praise as being the legend he is. In the end when it looked like Flair was coming down to save Orton from a Batista & HHH beatdown, he too swerved Orton.

Back to present day. It's the same exact scenario once again. Will the WWE go for the trifecta and give us the same old shit or will they actually surprise us and the third time will be a charm? My bet, it will be the same old shit for one simple reason. I believe that Vince and HHH love the fact that Flair is in a role as a lackey. Vince just loves rubbing the noses of the former WCW in people's faces and what better way than to make their greatest champion nothing more than a lousy asskissing sidekick. Of course, Hogan Jr. loves this shit too as it only makes him look better than he really is.

If you look at it, its a no win situation from a smart fans
perspective. If he turns on Batista it will be the same bullshit
that we have already seen twice before and by keeping him with Cripple
Haitch has gotten completly stale. Putting him with Batista
doesn't make sense either because as much of the face pops he recieves
he naturally works best as a heel.

The only positive thing they
could do is have him drafted to Smackdown which is something I would
love to see. For starters he would make a great locker room
leader on the smackdown roster. Someone with enough years in the
business to counter the backstage dictatorship from the likes of
Bradshaw and Holly who have never been anything more than mid-carders
to begin with. Plus I would really enjoy to watch his
interactions with the Olympic Hero Kurt Angle who in some strange way
reminds me of the Ric Flair I knew and loved back in the 80's in NWA

Just a thought is all....

Move over Steve Corino... I declare myself the NEW KING OF OLD SCHOOL

I figure the Flair turn will happen very soon possbily for a Trips
vs. Flair Summerslam Match. Flair has to come out on top before he
finally leaves so why not!

GO FLAIR GOO!

I didn't get to see RAW as I was out of town that night, but I just read the results.

Boy, I sure am glad to see the WWE went with an original idea for once.

I'm sure when he is ready for his retirement match it will be against HHH.
