Mr. Paulino...the bastard would put his son at first base&nbsp;when i was 10 and in&nbsp;little league, but he would cry when people would throw the ball to hard.&nbsp; the manger should have replaced him at first, not told us to throw it softer.&nbsp; i had him 3 years in a row.&nbsp; he sucked.

<p><font size="1">Art Howe </font></p><p>Bullshit. That guy did more with a small budget and upcoming talent than ANYONE, except Casey Stengel. But unfortunatly for him he was hired at the end of the Steve Phillips reign to help the Mets problems and wasnt their problem. If anything he showed the Mets they had promise in their system (ie David Wright, Scott Kazmir). And Kazmir's trade was not Howe's doing. But somehow he is blamed for it. Howe is a GREAT manager, and would soooo have led the 2000 Mets to a World Series win.</p>

i slightly disagree with him being an awful manager, he didnt put
together anything. first off, we are starting to see now he was
managing the steroid all star team, just look at durazo and chavez now,
they are awful. He didnt bring in anybody, that was all billy beane,
and again, as you are seeing now, he brought in all the roid monkeys.
Im now convinced barry zito had to be on something, cause he is gettin
hit more then whitney houston now. in any case, most of the roster was
beane, and howe just ran the roid raiders. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>if you dont believe me, look at what he did with the mets &quot;talent&quot;&nbsp;</p>

Grand Funk had what seemed to be a 'dick' manager. They were set up to play a sold out MSG and their manager showed up with two sheriff's officers to take all their equip away because they had backed out on a contract with him. They were young and naive but the manager should have worked with them. They had sold over 10 million albums at the time but had to give everything they had to the manager except their band name and had to start over...
