Is there anywhere I can buy ringtones (Sprint/Sanyo ones in particular)
if I dont want to order them from the Sprint site? Is there anywhere I
can get them for free?<br />

<p>I use the Apollo program for my Nextel.&nbsp; Got the free data cable from Nextel when you go to the site and ask for the cable to upgrade the GPS program.&nbsp; Then start the Apollo, hook up cable and can make my own wall papers, use Cool Edit Pro to convert my MP3 or Wavs into format usuable for the ringtones and not the MIDI garbage.&nbsp; I take regular songs that Ive downloaded and turn them into ringtones.&nbsp; Even sound clips from some of the radios shows.&nbsp; (White people are so scared of black people, lol) Fools pay $5 - $6 to go to store and download ringtones in NYC.</p><p>LuckyAndre</p>

I'm so glad I don't have a cell phone, because I know I'd be the asshole who actually bought a ringtone.&nbsp; It would be awesome to use my band's music as a ringtone though.

I dont know what your phone supports off hand.&nbsp; You'll need to check to see if you can even put those types of files on your phone.&nbsp; If you ask at that Howard forum they will be sure to have an answer for you, or better yet, if you search that forum someone might have already asked that question.<p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Turns out your phone supports QCP files as well.&nbsp; Whatever that means.&nbsp; <a href="http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=577098" target="_blank">Check here</a> for info on that all.&nbsp; Looks like you can go from .wav to .qcp.<br /></p>
