I was in the Shop and Stop parking lot in Levittown. I got a few things, water, apples, ect. I put the stuff in the car and leave the shopping cart. It was still and empty.

All of the sudden a huge gust of wind makes the cart roll and hit a Marcedes SUV! Holly s!!!
Leaving a nice noticable dent on the drivers side.

I couldn't have gotten out of there any faster. I couldn't help but laugh on the way home a little because of how ironic it was.

Wow, that's an interesting situation you were in.  I really don't know what I would have done.  Stayed and owned up or run?I won't fault you for what you did because my 1st reaction would be to run too.  But my conscience would bother me later.I don't know man, that's an interesting one.  I just hope no one saw you do that and got your plate.

I never hit a car and ran.  I was actually hit and let the guy drive away once.  He just bumped me from behind as I stopped for a STOP sign.  I waved him off and kept going.  I guess I could have started flipping around on the groud, holding my neck if I wanted to, but I mean really.  What good would it have done?  After years of bullshit I might have received some small settlement?  Beh.

I hate to rail this thread, but this made me think of something that just happened.  I was visiting my sister and I was pulling out of her driveway.  On the way out I dragged my side view along the rear quater panel of my dad's 2004 focus.  I quick jumped out and it looked like just a little paint from my mirror so I buffed it with my shirt and it looked fine, so I split.  About 5 minutes later I said to my girlfriend,"I can't believe I just hit and run my dad's car".
