Ok All the time you have been waiting for has arrived....and thanks to Snoogans reminder...I would like to announce that the Texas Hold Em tourney is set for June 25th (3 weekends from now)If most people cannot make it I will move the date to Mid-July. Everyone let me know asap if this is a good night for you all.You all know the drill, and the buy in is $50 now.Let the responses begin....

Don't know yet. Not sure if I'm working that weekend. If I am, then it's a no. But if I'm not, it's a yes.  I'll
spread the word but $50 might be a little steep for some of my stingy
ass crew. (Although Chris is already bugging me about when the next
game is going to be.......he needs to go to Gamblers

Ok all....I need to know if June 25th or July 9th is the better day to have this. Your input is very important because if I change the date of the game it will have to be no later then the end of this week.And Inky....no you do not have to play to come to the game, but it should get really boring sitting there watching people play poker for 5 to 6 hours. You are more then welcome though.

iffy cause I'm going to be on-call one of those weeks (right now I'm
scheduled for the 1st week if they don't change it). And July 9 is my
sister's b-day so blood comes first.

It's played at Justice's apartment (upper floor of a two-family house)We usually get 15-20 people, three tables play, the last two on each go to the final table, with a payout of roughly: 3rd place = money back, 1st & 2nd split what's left approximately 75/25.No re-buys, but a winner takes all side game always breaks out once the finals table is set.

im down to take it off the buy in, except that im sure a few people
there wouldnt care about watching it, so that would take money possibly
away from them.i suggested this way so that the few people who i
know would probably like to watch the fight could do it without causing
everybody to pay

we may have the first conflict then. For reasons, i really wanted to
watch the fight, so i may have to do that which would definately keep

Well Snoogs ya will be missed but you gotta do what you gotta do. I do not expect everyone to make every game. You made it to three so far, if you miss this one no biggie. Always a spot for ya at my place.Besides, I get the feeling there will not be many people coming to this one. Which is understandable. Would be nice to have a nice small game, like with only 10 people.

no the bet is weird in what we bet on. he gave me an over under on 8
point rounds for Mayweather, basically an over under on how many times
ghatti will knock him down. i took the 8 point rounds under 5, so i
wanted to kinda follow it so id know, cause you can get 8 point rounds
just for gettin your ass beat that bad, or for a penalty as well

yea you can get one without digital, just call and tell them you
wanna add an addresable converter. i believe a non digital is like 3
dollars a month so if you do, you will get charged 3 bucks, at least
for that month, then i guess you could give it back if you want

I don't think I'll be coming...the 50 bucks is a bit steep for my gal who just doesnt like to wager that much, and my cousin is reporting the same thing.  I know for a fact that my cousin is having a game for a $20, maybe $30 entry fee the same night.  It was an odd coincidence but he told me about it before I told him of this one.  So, maybe next time if the ante gets lowered.  I have no problem with it but that's a pretty long drive by myself.

Yet another great poker tourney, with a lot of big moments.  Crip makes his first final table.  Snoogans out FIRST overall!  Dre makes it a perfect 3/3 (missed one event) on making final tables.  I made the final table in all 4 JusticeCrip Tourneys.  4th, 2nd, 4th and now 1st.  Safe to say I'm liking the poker in Kenilworth.Crip took down my Aces full of 9's boat with the first 4 Aces ever at any of the tourneys.  I also became the first champ to take out every player on the final table.  But quote of the night was from Alkey to Silera at the final table.  I'll let someone else post that gem.  I'm laughing now just thinking about it.  Oh and I think Snoogans lost a grand overall with his insane betting all night long.  $25 to me, $50 to Funk, on and on and on.  Thanks Mayweather.  Thanks for making Gatti and Snoogans look like asses last night.  But I don't know boxing.  25 bucks says I do bitch.  That didn't stop Shawn from getting loud as hell though.  You all know his motto, "if I'm wrong, I make it right with volume!"<img src="http://members.aol.com/dxixrxt/spoon2.jpg" border="0" /> Get your balls out of your purse and step up to flavor! as usual, a Great time with Great people! a big Thanks to Tom and John for being the hosts with the most!!again i had to be a bridesmaid and not the bride... Dre provided the almost fatal blow. the river gave me a 3's over aces full boat and a big chunk of stack went to Dre who pulled the 4 3's OUCH!but i was able to take another losers table, (Justice, Snoogs, and myself) just for 80 but it covered my ins...so Snoogs got knocked out first and Gatti was a close second <img src="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/surrender.gif" border="0" />
