<p>is it possible to suck at this game?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; i had
03 and 04 and they got insanely easy, especially once your stats were
maxed out. you needed them to be to win all the match play shit, but
then you go to a tourney and all the comp guys shoot like 3-6 under,
and here you are full stats shootin 20 unders and shit.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>so
with 05, i decided not to let any of my stats get above 50, with max
being 100. now its kinda tough to beat jack nicklaus and im sure tiger
will be real tough considering im driving the ball like 265, but i just
shot an 18 under in 1 round in a tourney, and now i have a 13 shot lead
after 1 day. it makes playin the game basically pointless, is there
anyway to make it harder?&nbsp;</p>

<p>I just got this game about a month ago. I think to make it
harder you might be able to do something with the Tiger Proofing.
Also, turn off the Tiger eye and the putt assist. You can also
make it so you can't get any spin off shots out of the rough.
Sometimes when you play a person it asks if you want to bet on the
match, and they'll offer to pay you 3 times as much if you play the
hardest difficulty. Those matches seem a little trickier.

i already do all that. i shot the 18 under in tour mode, with no putt
assist and my spin rating is 43, so it doesnt do much even if i use it.
ive also tiger proofed as many holes as i could stand to before i
wanted to fall asleep. i guess its just too hard to not fuck up the
swing, they should go back to the meter type stop swing, it makes it
alot harder to not fuck up<br />

juust don't buy any of the magic clothing that improves your game. I had this game for a month and earned over 300 mil in earnings it was too easy. i traded it in for nba live 05 which blows too.

<p>good reminder Mudo, online is whats keeping my interest in most
games now a days. there are people online who can beat me, so i have
good games, but its become a joke against computers. all madden i win
by 30, tiger woods after 2 rounds in that tourney, im 30 under, and i
unified all the belts in fight night 2 in about 25 fights without ever
goin past the 8th round. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Basically, i should just
start buying games to play online and thats it. Part of it is too, we
are older and smarter now. So we figure out things that work more often
and what not, just like the old NHL games on sega. do a wrap around and
the d usually knocks the goalie out of the way, score 15 goals a
game.&nbsp;</p>

The thing is though, on some levels online play has kinda ruined the &quot;Season&quot; and &quot;Franchise&quot; modes on most games for me, because its so much more fun just to play other people cause of the competition level....

thats what it is. in MVP 05, it got so easy for me, i just started
simming whole seasons so i could do offseason moves, and thats it<br />
