it's tough to have sympathy for the guy being he has made millions of dollars... but money doesn't mean someone can't have psychological issues. the press and most of the public can't get enough of his crude and embarrassing remarks. have to say i feel a little sorry for the guy but the exploitation works both wayshe needs to stay away from the media and boxing for the remainder of his life and hopefully can live off any remaining moneys he may have. any good boxer will kick his butt

you're right... he's been taken advantage of by alot of people... he will probably need to make a change in lifestyle and sell off the million dollar homes and get something simpler. you'd think he could do it being he came from the ghetto and should understand both sides of the coin. he could get a nice home for 500k, pay it off and live off endorsementsthen again, how could he turn down another big payday... i hear he's supposedly training to get back in the ring

300 million he reportly spent. thats a MOUNTAIN of cash. he is big into smoking weed, partying and that whole scene. He does not now, nor do i believe he ever did, have the dedication. see thats the thing, 300 million of which he got 50 million or so. he
was robbed blind by alot of boxing people. then alot of his "friends"
took some of his 50 million. im not defending tyson, but shit, Hammer
went through alot more money then mike did

I think the partying caught up to him as he got olderi think what happened is he finally met up with someone who had good boxing skills and was "most important" NOT INTIMIDATED (Buster Douglas)   it seemed evry fighter before Buster had already lost the fight before they stepped into the ringthen Evander beat him badly and as you know nothing ever intimidated Evander...

buster douglass got lucky, he wasnt better. it came down to a) losing
alot by not being able to fight while in prison, b) his age startin
catchin up to him, he wasnt quick anymore, and c) he ran into
holyfield, who was the first guy to Box like that. Tyson had NO FUCKIN
ANSWER for anything holyfield did. i think that video found its way
into alot of gyms, just like how a thousand fighters are about to be
taught to fight by that winky wright tape dominating trinidad

The Old Tyson bobbed and weaved like Joe Frazier back in the day and threw vicious combinations. The post-D'Amato Tyson stood toe to toe and threw haymakers.

He's become one of the most pathetic characters in the history of all sports.

The Tyson that lost to Douglass wasn't the same fighter as the
earlier one. No head movement, no bobbing and weaving to get inside.
Basically living off the reputaion he built earlier. Other guys he
fought in his prime (like Mitch Blood Green) weren't scared of him,
they just couldn't beat him. The thing you need to know about
Tyson is he's small by heavyweight standards in height and reach. He
needed to work extra hard to get inside where he could do damage. Plus
his lightning quick speed. He doesn't have that speed anymore, hasn't
had it for 10 years. So now he's a dangerous, but beatable fighter. If
you're into any boxing history, Jack Dempsey was the same. Small guy
with a big punch. They tend to be shooting stars. Rise real fast, and
burn out in a few years when they lose the speed and cant get inside
anymore. Tyson knows his boxing history, and has known this himself for
years. He still fights because he needs the money.

tyson losin to douglas was like lennox lewis losin to rahman, he wasnt
even close to as good as lewis, him and tyson just knew that and came
in to the fight in bad shape and over cocky

 Tyson in his prime vs Marciano in his prime? Tyson. More skills, more ways to beat you. Both
had a great chin, both had knockout power. Tyson was faster, so he'd
beat him to the punch. And was better defensively in his prime,
Marciano basically stood right in front of you and charged foward. Be a
great fight though, and wouldn't last long. Two bulls charging right at
each other. Hagler vs Hearns 2.

Neither.I always thought he was a scumbag but good for
entertainment cause people would rip on him. There used to be this one
guy who did such a dead on impersonation years ago.Mellow?Didn't
Tyson almost go apeshit during the press conference the other day? He

regarldess of who was paid off those guys he was fighting were down for
the count and the score cards didn't mean shit. so maybe it wasnt judges, maybe they pay the boxer to take a dive, who knows
