Howl's Moving Castle

<p>I doubt anyone else here is interested in this
movie but I figured I'd give it a shot. It opens tomorrow but won't be
anywhere outside of large cities for a few weeks. It's a non-CG
animated film from Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki. It's not anime as
most people know it, but his movies are very different from traditional
American animated fare. I love his films. They have some of the best
animation you'll see, and some of the most inspired designs anywhere.
His last film was Spirited Away, and some of his other good films are

I saw the trailer for this movie a couple of weeks ago, I'd sooner pay to see Episode III.<br />

Your loss. Not really conventional at all, and it has its flaws certainly (Billy Crystal got on my nerves), but absolutely visually spectacular and about a billion times more soul than the "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" movie.

<p>Yea, I went and saw. I might have preferred subtitles. Not on par with Castle in the Sky&nbsp;or Princess Monoke, but still the best thing I've seen this summer. That moving castle has got to be CG animated..</p><p>(Kurasowa is the Walt Disney of Film Noir)&nbsp;</p>
