I'm mostly in the AC. except when I'm on the computer. It's in another room. There is no feng shui to my apartment whatsoever.

I also take cold baths. And drink Snapple iced tea by the case.

It's going to be one looooong, hot summer.

When in my office/bedroom I use a fan and an open window (at night only). I smoke, so I prefer to have an open window instead of using the A/C. I'm pretty comfy, but I need to use lots of ice for my rum and diet coke.

When I'm working (in my car) I blast the A/C but leave the window open at least 2 inches.

We have a ceiling fan in the bedroom and an AC in the kitchen. The AC is really strong and it cools off the entire apartment. I still need to get something for my office in the front of the apartment but we have gates on the windows. I need one of those shallow window fans.

There are also shallow AC's. My bedroom window has bars. I found a good unit for less than $200.

i have a window fan, but by 9am the temp goes up to 95 and i hide in
the basement on a couch... right now the fan has it down to 82...
everyone says to get an AC but my mom thinks itll eat up power so i
wont be able to turn it on.......how the hell did people live before
fans, when were they invented... i would die in here if i had no
basement and no moving air....

also, with a window fan, is exhaust or intake better?

Hopefully not. The
forecast gets better each day this week. 92 Tuesday, 86 Wednesday, 80
Thursday, 78 on Friday and Saturday, 76 on Sunday. Something to look
foward to.

Plus, as bad as the days are, the evenings are great. 75 with a breeze blowing. I love summer evenings.

I went walking tonight and I got maybe 2 1/2 miles away and Im seriously dehydrating and start really needing water. I see a park and I head for it, hoping that the bathrooms will be open (I didnt have any money or anything on me, and no stores). The bathrooms turned out locked and the fountians turned off and Im panicking! I see this maintenence building and its closed up too, but I find a spicket on the side and I turn it on and glorius water flows out! I inhale as mush water as I can and start walking again. I go another two miles and head back home and decide to wash my car. I get myself soaked and Im drinking water from the hose (I know your not suppose to). But it felt good and after that I took a cool shower and now Im sitting here with a fan blowing on me and it feels good.

I'd really like to have two beautiful Egyptian woman decked out like they were in the Middle Kingdom using palm fronds to fan my sack. Because there's just nothing worse than sack sweat. Except for maybe swamp ass.
