I've been using a cordless Micro mouse for about a year. Cordless is very important to me. My problem is this... When I'm working on my photos, it gets sluggish at times. Should I switch to an optical mouse? I've never used one before. Is there a mouse that's popular with people who do a lot of photo work? In all the photo mags I have, I've seen just about evey kind of device reviewed, but I've never seen a review of a mouse!

the best mouse that I have ever used is the MX-1000 from Logitech. Its kind of expensive, but so worth it. Its amazing. If you want to spend a little less, go with an MX-700. Its almost as good. Both are rechargable, but the MX1000 will last you at least 2-3 weeks inbetween charges. It has a small LED battery meter on it as well.

I just saw one of these things, and it looks perfect. Wacom

It's a hundred bucks and comes with Photoshop Elements 2 (which I already have). I think I might get it, and sell the software to a friend. It's more than I wanted to spend, but it looks like it's worth it. Anyone ever use one of these?

The MX-1000 does look nice, but that pad that Wacom has is very tempting.

I have 2 wired Logitech optic mice. Try them, they seem pretty solid.
