I was always a big critic of the "smog credits" plan to reduce emissions, but I guess economically it makes sense. Now we can help in the purchase of credits to make it more expensive for companies to pollute, and I like that. </p>

<p>Interesting. Market based. Those who pollute more, pay more. </p><p>Though in theory, the Feds enforcing environmental laws should accomplish the same thing. </p><p>Which, of course, is driving jobs to Mexico. </p><p>Beware of unintended consequences. Interesting idea, though. <br />
