If "DJ Slick" made sure to always say "100 Grand" then she has no case. But if you look at the Blog page (linked at the smoking gun link above) it does say the winner will be "100 Grand Richer" which could imply money. If he left it with the "It's sitting in a bag to my left" then I'd say the lady is out of luck.They took the joke as far as actually having the lady come down to pick up her prize, <a href="http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/0623051grand2.html" target="_blank">But it doesn't sound like they gave her a candy bar either</a>! They Had here go to the Central Bank building and a radio executive told her it was a joke. I didn't see a mention of her getting a "100 Grand" of any kind!I don't think O&A invented the bit, or claim to have. But I'm sure it was much funnier when they did it (Was that back in Boston?) I loved how angry their 100 grand winner was. Anyone have a clip of that?<a href="http://www.xmradio.com/"><img src="http://scripts.cgispy.com/image.cgi?u=skw" border="0" /></a>

I'm torn. I hate hack DJ's but at the same time I hate stupid
people. If there is a way for both sides to lose I'm in favor of it.

I hate stupid listeners, too. Back when I still listened to DC 101, Greg Roche kept saying he'd give free tickets to the FREE concert (and he kept emphasizing FREE concert), and he'd get people call in every single time. Some of them even screamed when they won the free tickets to the free show!
