Virus that sends to my buddy list

I clicked on a link from an IM from my friend, and now I have some kind
of virus that sends the same virus to everyone.  Anyone know of
this going around/how I can get rid of it?  McAfee doesn't seem to
work.<br />

Unfortunetly I had the same problem and be being the moron I coughed up 70 bucks to buy Norton Internet Security. Theres most likely another way of doing this. Sorry man

called a Trojan...i ran Norton Virus Scan then i did a certrain system
recovery (the only down part is it deletes all your files and your
computer goes back to when it was shipped to you) i did that and now my
computer is fine </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>P.S if u start using Firefox that
wont happen because a downloading screen will come up and ask u if u
wanna DL this file and of coruse u click no cause its the virus&nbsp;</p><blockquote />
